Summary of The Wish List Trip

Zoe, Holly, and Anna met in college and became instant besties. They did everything together, as close as sisters. After graduation they vowed to take an annual trip together each year. And they did! That was until Greece, when Holly and Anna have a major falling out.

Now five years later the two haven't spoken to each other since. But that will all change if Zoe has anything to say about it!

Holly & Anna are brought back together by the passing of their beloved friend Zoe. Through a letter left in her will, Zoe asks them to take one last trip together... a retracing of every place they visited plus one new destination they never got to go to. Every detail is already planned out. Along the way they would read letters from Zoe, because she has some secrets to share, as they spread their friend's ashes. And honestly, they have their own secrets too.

Can Holly & Anna make it through their beloved friend's last request? Will they find a way to forgive one another and share their friendship again? Oh, and what exactly happened in Greece to blow it all up in the first place?

The Wish List Trip is about forgiveness and the bonds of sister-like friendship in the face of loss and ultimately the desire to be loved and remembered.

This one touches the heart in ways you won't see coming

The story unfolds through the alternating perspective of Holly & Anna, with letters written from Zoe, also alternating between present day and telling the story of the trio's meeting, their travels, and their ultimate falling out in Greece.

You get to see Holly's feelings for Anna and Anna's feelings for Holly and gain a bit of understanding into their dynamic before everything unfolds for these characters. It is emotional and touching, in ways you hope for yourself in your own friendships. The characters have a lot of depth that is revealed throughout the chapters.

And when you realize Zoe's request is about more than a trip, even more than forgiveness, you find connection and longing for your own life too.

This story is beautifully told, with breaks for humor and "did that really just happen?" moments that make this a story you don't want to put down.

This story will be enjoyed by many, but would make a great buddy read among friends!

The Wish List trip gives you a it of everything: friendship, travel, secrets, and even a touch of romance.
