Supporting Small Businesses With Every Launch

One of the things that matters deeply to us at Craft'n Pages is supporting small businesses whenever and wherever we can.

Long before we started packing boxes, curating books, and dreaming up cozy moments for readers, both of us were small business owners ourselves. In fact, Sarah and Wendy first met while helping lead and support a global online community of entrepreneurs and small business owners from all over the world. Cheering on people who are building something meaningful has always been close to our hearts.

As we've launched Craft'n Pages, we've tried to weave that support into every collection we've created.

In our very first launch in December, we featured a watercolor craft created by the talented team at Mama + Maker, a Wisconsin-based small business founded by a fellow maker and mama. The project paired beautifully with Meet Me Under the Northern Lights and allowed us to share the creativity of another small business with our readers. We also purchased signed copies of Grace & Henry's Holiday Movie Marathon by a Maryland author through the independent bookstore The Ivy Bookshop. To make the experience even cozier, we included gourmet popcorn from Frederick's own The Original Popcorn House.

For our March launch, we partnered with several wonderful small businesses, including 8 Days Botanicals, whose room sprays helped set the perfect atmospheric mood for The Storm boxes. We also sourced tea from a beloved local Frederick shop, bringing a little hometown comfort to readers around the country.

And in our newest round of boxes shipping this month, we're thrilled to continue that tradition. Readers receiving A Far-Flung Life will find felt craft kits from Etsy shop Handcrafted Glow. We're also including beautiful postcards from Tiffany's Postal Treats, along with delicious French-inspired treats from a local Frederick bakery for boxes supporting This Book Made Me Think of You.

We know firsthand how much heart, creativity, late nights, and courage go into running a small business. Every order placed, every recommendation shared, every collaboration formed can make a real difference. While we're still in the early days of our own journey, it feels important to us to use whatever platform we have to celebrate and support fellow makers, artists, authors, bakers, shop owners, and dreamers.

Our hope is that as Craft'n Pages grows, so will our ability to partner with even more small businesses and bring their work into your hands. Supporting small businesses isn't just something we do—it's part of who we are.

Thank you for helping make that possible.
