Book Lover Gift Guide

‘Tis the season, book-loving pals, for some holiday gifts perfect for the literary lover in your life (or for you to give a hint to those who are buying for you). Here are some of our fav book-and-reading-related gifts we’ve seen. Get ready to cough, cough, BOOKMARK these.

Dimmable flat reading lamp

Wendy has a small portable reading light in multiple places. She loves the one in her car for dark carpool nights and has one on her nightstand for bedtime reading. But this one intrigues her, too! No more attaching to pages or having uneven light on a page!

All Booked Up Coloring Book

This coloring book has the loveliest designs and is entirely book and reading-themed images. We love supporting a small business owner, too!

Book Ornament Advent Calendar

We are definitely doing something book-and-advent connected between the two of us. This one seems really fun. Wendy’s about to get a mini Christmas tree for her cozy room just for book ornaments.

Blind Date With a Book

Wrap up a book (or several books) that make you think of a friend and surprise them with it. A great stand-alone gift or part of larger gift-giving moment.

Curious Iguana Tote Bag
Wendy’s favorite local bookstore, Curious Iguana, recently shared a “Have Your Shelf a Literary Christmas” tote filled with seasonal goodies like a book, journal, stickers and more. It’s so adorable!

Brr Baskets
You can always incorporate many cozy things into a “Brr Basket” (Wendy’s daughter says these are all over TikTok and YouTube!) You can pick a theme and fill the basket up with several items that align or you can just stick with a comfy vibe. Definitely don’t forget the books! Think of things like books, lotion, jammies, slippers, hot cocoa, candy, a blanket, a candle, skin care/beauty products, pillows, small crafts or games, etc.

Gift Cards

Perhaps the best gift if you’re not sure what to get someone – but an easy way to still support a local small business!

Book reading goal counter
Wendy surprised Sarah with one of these when she visited Maryland in early November, and it makes an adorable bookshelf accessory. Plus, it is fun changing out the numbers with each new book!

Custom art canvas bookmark from Jenna Kast
A local artist from Green Bay, Jenna Kast, uses extra canvas from her artworks to create bookmarks perfect for saving your spot in your current read. Gorgeous tassels included.

Author & Book Inspired Banners
We love this one with a quote from Ralph Waldo Emmerson, about making each day the best day of the year. These banners make a great piece of home decor.

Beginner Friendly Virtual Art Workshops with Mama + Maker

Explore a variety of art and craft mediums from painting, drawing, textile, and craft. All workshops are beginner friendly and help you connect with your inner maker.

Custom Book Stamp or Embosser
For the book lover growing their library! Add a custom stamp or emboss the title page of your books to add that extra touch.

Sister Golden Artwork Puzzle

For the cozy moments, put together a piece of artwork with a puzzle from Sister Golden. The artist, Vicki, uses found elements in nature to create beautiful pieces of art that she makes available in prints and fun puzzles.

After Reading Emotional Support Sweater
For those who get deeply invested into a book and need a moment to recover. This sweatshirt gives you a warm hug while saying it all.

Book & Plants Together – Yes please!
These adorable planters come in a variety of sizes and they all are reading books! How cute 🥰. Whether a friendly desk companion, or adorning the bookshelf these planters make you smile.

We hope we’ve inspired you and your holiday gift-giving! Happy Shopping (and reading)!
